Miniature Pinscher - Gem - Small - Young - Female - Dog
Gem: 1-1½ yr old stag red female, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 8 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. Gem is a delightful girl who would rather have human attention that almost anything else (except food), and wiggles all over with pleasure whenever she gets it! She is happy and active, will follow you all over the house, so she can be near you. At times she will play vigorously with the other dogs. Other times she wants to be held and cuddled. If you are sitting she will jump up and down at your knee asking to be allowed on your lap. When chilly she will climb under a blankie or into a pillowcase. Gem loves to eat and her new family will have to watch her food and waistline (she just got in shape!). She'll snack on plants if it isn't mealtime, so houseplants will need to be kept out of her reach. She is a rather quiet girl, but will sound the alarm for strangers. Gem loves to chase frogs, toads, butterflies and would probably chase a cat if given the opportunity. She doesn't appear to have had any formal training but is smart and is learning quickly. Most of all, she eagerly wants to please you! Note: Gem is located in Scotia, NY - and we will not fly this girl.
